Fundraiser Wild West Casino Night to Be Held on Saturday
On Saturday, July 17, the Riverfront Community Center hosts a popular fundraiser called Wild West Casino Night. The Leavenworth County Society is holding the Wild West Casino Night as a fundraiser for themselves and the Caroll Mansion Museum.
The museum and the historical society will be the ones to be benefitted from the fundraiser. The event holders expressed great joy towards the event. “We are very excited about the community support and donations from businesses and organizations.”, says Alisha Murphy, president of the Leavenworth County Historical Society.
Wild West Casino Night will also be an excellent way to relax and unwind for those who have been traumatized by the lockdown. This is a fantastic opportunity to have the fun that people have been missing for a year! With the opening of numerous casinos and restaurants, people are regaining their freedom from COVID-19.
The Event of Summer
The big fundraising event is being called “The Event of Summer.”. The Donors will be playing exciting casino games such as blackjack, roulette, bingo, balloon pop, and others.
Donors were suggested to donate at least $30 by July 1st. After July 1st, the suggested donation is $35, with donors receiving dinner and $5,000 in play chips. While playing their favorite casino games with their friends, the players will try their luck with the $5000 play chips.
The Leavenworth County Historical Society describes The Wild West Casino Night as “historic and fun”. “People are really excited to get out there and enjoy the night,” said Lisa Weakley, a member of the event’s organizing committee.
